FAQs about Alvesco
What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Alvesco, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. This information is provided in the Patient Counseling Information section of the label.
Can I take Alvesco while pregnant or breastfeeding?
The use of Alvesco during pregnancy should be considered only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. It is not known whether ciclesonide is excreted in human milk; therefore, caution should be exercised when administering Alvesco to nursing mothers. This guidance is outlined in the Warnings and Precautions section of the label.
How should I store Alvesco?
Alvesco should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Do not freeze the medication. Proper storage conditions are specified in the Storage section of the label.
