Calquence (acalabrutinib) is a Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of certain types of blood cancers, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). It is taken as an oral tablet and is available by prescription only. Patients are advised to monitor for signs of bleeding and infection, as Calquence may increase the risk of these complications.

What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Calquence, take it as soon as you remember on the same day. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. This information is found in the Patient Counseling Information section of the label.
Can I stop taking Calquence suddenly?
Patients are advised not to stop taking Calquence without consulting their healthcare provider. Abrupt discontinuation may lead to a worsening of the condition being treated. This warning is included in the Warnings and Precautions section of the label.
How should I store Calquence?
Calquence should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the medication in its original container and out of reach of children. This storage information is specified in the Storage section of the label.
