Emend is a substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptor antagonist indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy and surgery. It is available as an oral tablet and is a prescription medication. Patients should be aware that Emend may interact with certain medications and should not be used in individuals with hypersensitivity to aprepitant or any of its components.

What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Emend, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Can I take Emend while pregnant or breastfeeding?
