Singulair
/Singulair is a leukotriene receptor antagonist used to manage asthma and relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies. It is taken as an oral tablet and is available by prescription only. There are no specific handling precautions for montelukast (Singulair) as it is not classified as a cytotoxic drug. Patients should store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

Signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

Severe abdominal pain or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
Unexplained flu-like symptoms or fever.
