Adcirca
/Adcirca is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to improve exercise ability. It is taken as an oral tablet and is available by prescription only. Patients are advised that Adcirca may cause a decrease in blood pressure and should not be used in combination with nitrates or in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
