Cozaar

Cozaar is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist used to treat high blood pressure and to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. It is taken as an oral tablet and is available by prescription only. Patients are advised to monitor for signs of low blood pressure and should not use Cozaar if they are pregnant, as it may cause harm to the fetus.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

Can I stop taking Cozaar suddenly?

Cozaar is not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can harm the fetus.
